Another card made with a set from the main IB&C, Vintage Vogue, page 75. I love this set so much, there is so much you can do with it.

This is a simple easel card that actually was a make and take at a workshop I
had at my house before I was a demonstrator. The lady who did the demonstrations is now my upliner!

If you would like to know how to become a demonstrator contact me inkyfingerswithjenie@gmail.com. the starter kit is just £99 at the moment and you can totally tailor make it to your own needs. What are you waiting for, come join the team and the fun!

Funky four

A quick post today with a quick card to show. I have been going through my stamps and realised that there are a few that I haven't touched since the new mini catalogues came out. I don't want to forget these, there are some amazing sets in the main Idea Book And Catalogue.
Today I've made a little card and gift tag using the Funky Four set on page 46, some brights designer series paper, confetti cream and chocolate chip cardstock.

I saw a version of this card somewhere, tried to find it since and just can't think for the life of me where! I've added a little and taken a little away from the original, in other words I've "Jenified" it!

The colours are just amazing together, I love to find new colour combos, it sparks of my creativity and I just can't stop!

Very simple and very striking, defiantly one of my favourites.

Surprisingly, this is a very quick card to make.

Card recipe:
Stamps: Apothecary Art, Tea Shoppe
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Grey
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Die, Framelets, Antique Brad, Tiny Tag Punch, Crochet Lace, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, Lattice Square Embossing Folder, Rhinestones.

One colour set four cards.

This morning I had the urge and I needed to fix it! The urge was to make a set of quick and easy cards using stamps that I haven't used for a while from the Idea Book and Catalogue.

I left them all blank so that I can add a sentiment as the need arises, it's never a bad thing to have a back up of cards for those unexpected occasions!

Card recipe:
Stamps: Clearly For You, Aviary, Simply Soft, Precious Butterflies
Cardstock: So Saffron, Basic Grey
Ink: So Saffron, Basic Grey
Accessories: Top Note Die, Rhinestones, Daubers, So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon

Exploding thanks!

I recently had to make a few thank you cards and I stumbled across this idea of an exploding card, using the Simply Scored Board made it so simple!

A card measuring 8x8" was scored at 4" both vertically and horizontally and then using the diagonal plate I scored from one corner to the other. This card base was then folded along the score lines as seen in the following picture.

A simple belly band made with ribbon and secured with a layered Mixed Bunch punched flower finished it off.

Mixed bunch class

Sorry, I'm a bit late in posting the results of my class on Wednesday!  Icve just had one of those busy weeks, lots of cards to show you. I'll have to do a post a day until I catch up with myself.
So, as promised, here are the cards from my coffee and card morning.

All made with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and co-ordinating punch, I do love punches!

Summer Mini Catalogue Launch

Yesterday morning I held my Summer Mini Catalogue Launch. The planning that goes into these events is quiet intensive, the make and takes, the goodie bags, displays and samples and demonstrations but it is all worth it when you see people enjoying themselves, chatting, laughing and crafting away. I love it, especially when they put their own twist on the cards.

I really enjoyed myself and hope my ladies did too. It wont be long before I organise another event like this.

Not the best of photos, i had to use my phone as our camera is playing up, but it's not too bad! I tried to show all of the stamp sets, either on the display table or in the make and takes.

A smile is good enough for me!
happy crafting everyone
