Bordering On Romance

Good morning everybody, I hope you are all enjoying this glorious sunshine we are having. Isn't it amazing how a bit of blue sky can change your mood!

I had a play late last night, seeing as the sun was still shining and I had lots of lovely light beaming into my craft space. I was so captured by my upliners scrapbook page that I had to give it a go.
Scrapbooking is not something that I can get into, I did try years ago but my layouts were awful. This page however was stunning and very simple to do.

Armed with my crumbcake cardstock and twitterpated papers, bordering on romance stamps, sprizter tool, stamp and write markers, and eyelet border punch I set to work. I had almost finished my page when I discovered that I'd lost my butterfly embosslits! The horror, I was devistated, I turned my stash upside down but no trace was found :( luckily my upliner sent me some emergency butterflies to keep me going. I happily finished the page and went on to make a matching card too.

Sorry about the quality of the photos, my camera is playing up and I have no idea what is wrong with it, maybe it doesn't like this heat!
Happy Crafting everyone

Another card made with a set from the main IB&C, Vintage Vogue, page 75. I love this set so much, there is so much you can do with it.

This is a simple easel card that actually was a make and take at a workshop I
had at my house before I was a demonstrator. The lady who did the demonstrations is now my upliner!

If you would like to know how to become a demonstrator contact me inkyfingerswithjenie@gmail.com. the starter kit is just £99 at the moment and you can totally tailor make it to your own needs. What are you waiting for, come join the team and the fun!

Funky four

A quick post today with a quick card to show. I have been going through my stamps and realised that there are a few that I haven't touched since the new mini catalogues came out. I don't want to forget these, there are some amazing sets in the main Idea Book And Catalogue.
Today I've made a little card and gift tag using the Funky Four set on page 46, some brights designer series paper, confetti cream and chocolate chip cardstock.

Tuesday 22 May 2012

I saw a version of this card somewhere, tried to find it since and just can't think for the life of me where! I've added a little and taken a little away from the original, in other words I've "Jenified" it!

The colours are just amazing together, I love to find new colour combos, it sparks of my creativity and I just can't stop!

Very simple and very striking, defiantly one of my favourites.

Surprisingly, this is a very quick card to make.

Card recipe:
Stamps: Apothecary Art, Tea Shoppe
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla
Ink: Basic Grey
Accessories: Beautiful Butterflies Die, Framelets, Antique Brad, Tiny Tag Punch, Crochet Lace, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, Lattice Square Embossing Folder, Rhinestones.

One colour set four cards.

This morning I had the urge and I needed to fix it! The urge was to make a set of quick and easy cards using stamps that I haven't used for a while from the Idea Book and Catalogue.

I left them all blank so that I can add a sentiment as the need arises, it's never a bad thing to have a back up of cards for those unexpected occasions!

Card recipe:
Stamps: Clearly For You, Aviary, Simply Soft, Precious Butterflies
Cardstock: So Saffron, Basic Grey
Ink: So Saffron, Basic Grey
Accessories: Top Note Die, Rhinestones, Daubers, So Saffron Grosgrain Ribbon
