Owl a lot!

I was browsing some of my old cards and came across my Owl Swaps from a training event a while ago. These were so simple to make from the Petal Cone Die. 

Just a bit of folding and punching of a few circles for the eyes, scalloped semi circles for the wings and your done. very cute!

Eat Cake!

Tonight was one of those nights that seemed to drag waiting for Daddy to home. My son was on the laptop, my daughter was colouring and I was bored! I started to look at some of my bits and bobs in my mess of craft stash and had an idea. I wasn't sure if it would work so I started to make a rough template, paper engineering if you like!  I stamped, punched and glued from my scraps box and I am pleased to say that i think it turned out ok!

It was so easy to make that my daughter made one too, a little Raffle Stall for her dolls house people, Bless!

Bags of Style!

This morning I had a brainwave, they don't happen very often! I was making a gift for my workshop last night but wasn't very happy with it.

While I was getting the kids ready for school (great timing Jen!) I figured out what I wanted to do. I hurried home from the school run and set to work cutting letters using the Typeset Alphabet Dies on some Designer Fabric, Spice Cake and Twitterpated.

Look what I came up with, I wish I wasn't giving it away now I've made it! Oh well, better go make another one just for me!

Give a little thanks

Just had a morning of play with the Oh Hello stamp set. One in masculine colours (not quite navy and rasberry ripple) and one feminine (pretty inpink and lucky limeade)
While I was in the zone I also sewed a little paper bag filled  with some notelets and decorated it to match.
