Celebrate with The Best of Flowers

Hello everybody, hope this weather isn't dampening your mood!

Today I made a simple vintage card and matching tag using The Best of Flowers and Perfectly Penned stamp sets.

It's always nice to whip up a matching tag, especially while you have the bits out from making the card.

Plaster and baked sugar!

It's been a while since I had a good crafty session. We have been doing some building work to make our 2 bed into a 3 bed. Even though they are smallish rooms, the kids are ecstatic that they have their own space.

Ok, these were taken about a month ago and progress has been made since then. It's taking a long time, we need new floor, new beds, paint and decorate them yet!

Anyway, I want to show you some cards that I made today.

Today's cards feature two of the many new colours coming in the new Stampin Up Catalogue, Coastal Cobana and Baked Brown Sugar, as well as a new stamp set and punch .

There's a hint of my style in these but essentially they are quiet clean cut for me. hope you like them. I look forward to showing you some more sneak peaks over the next few days.

Feminine sport

Todays card! Created using a combination of Great Sport and Blue Label Stamp Sets. I like to add a touch of me to cards, distressing and inking edges are my favourite techniques.
I stamped the main image onto some printable acetate ( that way i dont have to worry with Stazon), cut it out  and stuck in down on the reverse.

Thanks Coaches

Real quicky before I go out.

My hubby asked me to make some thank you cards for my sons football coaches. I made them first thing this morning for tonight's Presentation event.

Birthday butterflies

Now I have given this to the recipient I can share it with you!

All inked, glittered, stamped, embossed, punch and distressed late last night! I had the design in my head for a while but only put it together at the last minute!

I started out by making the background ( i used the top one for the base card and the first one to use for the butterflies)

I couldn't find any wrapping paper so I made this box for the present

I blogged this a few weeks back.

I hope she likes it!

Butterfly Notes

Today I've been planning for a workshop, I don't post many of the makes because I sometimes reuse them, and like it to be a bit of a mystery. However, this one is just too cute and can't keep it to myself! I made a little note book for my hostess from the Beautiful Butterfly die, some DSP, chipboard and with the use of my crop-o-dile I was able to make a whole for the ring.  All finsihed off with a little ribbon tie, worthy to clip onto any bag or purse.

I know this isn't a good shot but I took it to show you just how thick the little note pad is.

Hope you like and and hope my hostess does too! (I may have just ruined the surprise though!!!)

Have a happy day
hugs
