Welcome Christmas

I'm in the Christmas card making mode, maybe it's because the Autumn Winter Catalogue is just around the corner. It's filled with yummy new products and I can't wait to share them with you.

That in mind I have been making Christmas cards with some of our existing products.

This card is made with one of my favourite sets, Welcome Christmas.

I used the eyelet border punch to make berries for the wreath and dabbed a little dot of crystal effects on each berry to add definition using a cocktail stick.

It was very hard not to vintage the card up but I wanted to keep it quite simple and clean. Hope you like the end result.

Hi, happy bank holiday weekend, hope that you have a wonderful time what ever you are up to.

Today I want to share a card I made for my Disney mad friend, I missed her birthday so its a bit of a belated one.

So simple to make with some basic black card, dsp, a few punches and a simple greeting. Sometimes it's nice to get back to basics and make a simple but effective card. I sure hope she likes it.

A – MAZE – ING!

I love maze books, they are so quick to make, and so simple too!

To make a basic maze book, score a 12x12 piece of cardstock at 3” intervals, turn and repeat. You should now have a page with a grid pattern on, 4 squares x 4 squares.
Cut the page as shown (black lines are scored/folded, red lines are cut), then fold each square concertina style.



When it is all folded, there are a number of ways to  finish the book, On this one i have folded the front and back ‘pages’ back and trimmed them to form a book spine. Run the ribbon underneath the folded pieces and punch a small hole to bring them out of the front, they can then be tied together to hold the book closed.

Upcycled wellies with stampin up!

Today my friend gave my daughter some new wellies, so her old ones weren't needed and a little small. For some reason, while she was outside playing in her new wellies, I had an idea of upcycling her old ones into 'crocs'! A bit of snippng here and glue gunning there and the 'crocs' were born but they looked too plain! So with the boot off cuts I used the stampin up blossom die and cut some of the flowers and stuck them on the side.  She is over the moon with her one-off new 'crocs' and I have to say I am too.
