Terrific Tag

Today I sat down to play! I wanted something with a harlequin design but I have nothing of that nature. So I set about making a stencil from an old play mat of the kids.

I made a template on the computer and stuck the play mat on top securing with some masking tape and  started to cut out where the black diamonds were.

I then used a dauber to ink in the diamonds to create a harlequin design on some enchanted paper.

Then I cut out a tag shape and stamped with Everything Eleanor swirls, cut some butterflies from the beautiful  butterflies embosslits folder, a greeting from Precious Butterflies stamp set, a spritz of champagne mist and a few punched flowers from glitter cardstock all tied up with some seam binding ribbon.
