I always like to make a thank you for my ladies whenever they come to a class using something different that they haven't seen before. This card uses the pennents punch, itty bitty flower punch and the designer label punch. I have embossed the lower half of the card with the polka dot embossing folder, assembled as shown and added a few tiny bows from bakers twine, pearls for the centre of the flowers, ribbon secured with a brad and that's it.

I little project that was given to us demonstrators at our latest training event was a box and matching cards. Seeing as i spend far too much time gossiping and drinking coffee I didn't even start it! Finally two weeks later i have finished.

It's a neat little holder for the cards, it even has a pocket for stamps at the front. The project uses pool party cardstock, matching DSP (Designer Series Paper), Lucky Limeade ribbon, Pool Party and Indigo Island inks and the new Perfect Postage Stamp set from the new Mini Catalogue.

Banner Card

It's been a while and I apologies for the absence! While I have been away I have been busy making and creating.
These two cards are a great template for adapting for different occasions, change the colours to match or coordinate to your designer series papers.
I've used the scallop border punch either side of the banner which was hand cut. Then I've stamped a greeting  and punched using the designer label punch. couldn't be simpler!
Have fun mixing and messing with this template.

Happy Hannuka

Hag Sameach to all my family and friends celebrating the Jewish Holiday of Hannuka the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day celebration.  According to the Talmud, olive oil was needed for the menorah in the Temple, which was required to burn throughout the night every night. The story goes that there was only enough oil to burn for one day, yet it burned for eight days, the time needed to prepare a fresh supply of oil for the menorah. An eight day festival was declared by the Jewish sages to commemorate this miracle.

I have chosen a simple design for this card, the middle menorah has nine clear rhinestones to represent the eight candles burning and one shamash candle.
