Another butterfly piece.

Yes, I know! My butterfly obsession comes from my mother!  I just keep getting drawn to them at the moment.

This piece was inspired by an embroidery ring I found in The Works for just 99p!

I stamped the swallowtail with black stazon and coloured with inks onto a piece of cotton fabric ( actually it was a pair of bargain linen trousers I bought in the chariry shop today for this project

Once coloured and stretched in the ring,  I painted the butterfly with crystal effects. After gluing on some old vintage lace, I aged the fabric with some crumb cake ink. A few of the vanilla flower trim roses and leaves punched from the bird builder punch finished it off.
