Cherish The Moments

This morning I've managed to make a photo album for my sister-in-laws' new baby boy.
I've used Baja Breeze cardstock, Patio Party Designer Series Paper, White Stampin Embossing Powder and a piece of retired Stripy Grosgrain Ribbon.

This is the front cover embossed using Baby Prints Stamp Set, Versamark and White Stampin Embossing Powder

This is the inside cover, here I added a baby details using Little Additions Stamp Set and Basic Grey Ink Pad

This is where all the cute baby photos will go, hopefully! I've used Clear Medium Envelopes to pop the photos in.

Rather chuffed with the result, and no inky fingers today!

scented teabags

morning guys.
I've been busy with my Stampin' Up! Designer fabric this morning. I'm making my swaps for our Team Social Day. It's always fun to meet with other demonstrators and swap our mini creations. Everyone is so talented and it's amazing what people come up with using the same products.
I always like thinking outside of the box, I was going to make some tags but came up with these scented teabags instead! I may end up making something to mount them on because I need to make a recipie for them and, as you can see, there's not a lot of room on them.

First I stamped my greeting on some Cotton tape with black Stazon

I make a template and cut out the Designer Fabric 

Here they are all made up 

I'm quite pleased with how they turned out, very shabby chic!

Caged butterflies

Today is like to share with you a card I made for someone very special to me.
It features the Avairy stamp set, doilies die and butterfly embosslits, amongst some designer series paper, ribbon, lace and brad.
For now I have left off the sentiment as I can't quite make  my mind on which to use and which punch to do it on!

Framed Layout

It's been a while since I've posted some makes. Life has been very hectic, my dad has been in and out of hospital in the past 6 months and had 3 operations! I've had some amazing trips, our annual trip to abroad to visit family, Christmas with my parent and, a trip to Disney Paris for my daughters birthday treat. My recent spare time has been taken up with helping to plan for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary Blessing, I've been writing a speech, planing outfits for my family, and getting the bits to make my daughter a dress for the day.

I'm posting today to show you one of the presents that I am making for them. I wanted to make a scrapbook layout of their wedding day photo but they are in such an old album I couldn't remove one to copy. My dad copied a really lovely photo of them just before their wedding so I used that instead.

As the photo was in black and white I used that as an influence for the layout, with a touch of gold glimmer paper in the butterflies to represent the Golden Anniversary.

I'm no scrapbooker, although I would like to start doing more but this is only my second project, however I do kinda like how it came out.

You just keep the wine flowing and I will concentrate on the "entertainment" for the evening.
